On the west side of Plaunt Street just north of Raglan Street South (Highway 60)

Plaque Summary
Attracted by the lumber activity in the upper Ottawa valley, settlers began moving into the area of present-day Renfrew in the 1830s. The opening of the Opeongo Road in 1854 ensured Renfrew's continued growth.
